Ohmygosh, the weekend is finally here!
Well, what got me through the week was basically the prospect of seeing another day pass smoothly onto the next, whereby Saturday will come.
Okay, maybe not so smoothly.
Sure there are the occasional bumps i call Peka, homework, tuition, boring classes, you-think-you're-all-that teachers, draggy hours, and lost sleep.
But my weekly dose of American Idol helped to speed the Wednesdays and Thursdays up a little.
Here's my pick for the next person(guy) i'd be proud to call the next American Idol.
Danny Gokey, 28 years old
Home: Milwaukee, WI
Auditioned at: Kansas City, MO
This dude's just been through too much, and he's got this amazing persona despite all that, and not to mention a rocking voice to boot. Really love him. :)
Jamar Rogers, 26 years old
Home: Milwaukee, WI
Auditioned at: Kansas City, MO
Danny's friend and a really good one too. Just so 'awwwwwwwww' lah they two. So inseparable. If KaraPaulaSimonorRandy separates them both, i'd.....
Kai Kalama, 26 years old
Home: San Clemente, CA
Auditioned at: San Francisco, CA
Another amazing guy. What he does for his mother is so loving. What a guy. Truly, what a guy. :)
Matt Breitzke, 27 years old
Home: Bixby, OK
Auditioned at: Kansas City, MO
What can i say, the guy just makes me smile. Big ol' teddy bear. :D
Matt Giraud, 23 years old
Home: Kalamazoo, MI
Auditioned at: Louisville, KY
Loved him the moment he came into the room. Wacky, fun, unpredictable, but most of all, sings like an angel. And i'm not flattering him, he really does. Love him, love him, love him.
Michael Castro, 20 years old
Home: Rockwall, TX
Auditioned at: Kansas City, MO (brought bro Jason along too! :)
Following footsteps of bro, Jason; Michael's laidbackness is undeniably desirable. And his whatever attitude is surprisingly the exact opposite of annoying. Totally amazing.
But if i had to narrow it down to the top three, i'm so rooting for Danny, Matt and Mike.
i think.
Well, i haven't really seen all yet so, i guess i'll wait till the next episode.
Been browsing through a few blogs of my friends' friend a few weeks back, and also recently.
What this particular person wrote got me through the bad parts *if there were even any.
What she wrote really moved me, and it made me think.
A lot.
So bloggers out there, continue to do what you're doing cuz you never know when it might just make that little significant difference in the life of another.
I'd like to think that what i'm writing might make a difference in one way or another too.
Sure it's mostly about hot guys and a lot of blabbing but...
I guess you'd just never know.
You hold your head up to the sky
You say what kind of blue
are you? Are you?
Then you ride your pony round and round
It`s diggin` a hole, right through, right through
